Overlooking the Dana Point Beach from the Ritz Carlton Resort provided a prime spot to capture some color.

Steve Puttrich: Arlington Heights, IL, United States; I enjoy painting landscapes and still-lifes. My creative journey has taken me full circle in exploring different medium. While studying at the Art Institute of Chicago and the American Academy of Art in the early 80’s, oils and watercolor were my medium of study. And later, as a professional artist working for Parsons Corp., producing architectural illustrations in gouache, acrylics and digital media. More recently, I have been rediscovering the struggles and joys of travel and en plein air oil painting with my wife Bobbie Puttrich.
