Garfield Park Palms

Steve Puttrich © 2013
Garfield Park Palms
8"x10" Oil on Canvas
$250 SOLD

One of Chicago's Plein air painting location gems is Garfield Park Conservatory. The large Palm room is home to an amazing assortment of palm trees from around the world. This scene was one of the paintings I did with our Plein Air Painter of Chicago group.

Hi Steve, discovered your work via email as a follower on twitter. Not much of a twitter user yet. But thanks for the connect and a chance to view your beautiful art. Our children lived as newly weds in Chicago and AH so am familiar with your area.
You might want to check out the Outdoor Painters Society website in which I am the paint out director. Saw that you are doing more plein air and if you are ever traveling in our area, TX and SW, please fell free to join us on one of our monthly paint outs, we have a group of very talented and welcoming artists. I don't know if you will look at this, as you haven't posted for awhile, but I wanted to say that I just came upon your blog and am really appreciating your artwork.

Blessings,

Melissa
